Emma Irvine: Event Coordinator

Hi, my name is Emma Irvine. I am 19 years old and currently studying HND Media and Communications at City of Glasgow College.  

I love all forms of media from film, television, theatre, social media and pop culture. I have chosen to peruse a career in media as I want to create content that will entertain others and to work together with people who enjoy creating as much as I do. A woman in the media who inspires me is Reese Witherspoon. Not only is she an incredible Oscar winning actress, over the years she has taken roles for women into her own hands. With the work from her production company, she has made multiple movies and tv shows that highlight the strength of women and how they can be the hero in their own stories.  

My hopes and ambitions for the future are to excel in the world of social media and to be able to have fun with others while I do it.
